- Role of the QHSSE Department
The QHSSE Department is responsible for governing, implementing, and continuously improving Mwasalat’s QHSSE Management System across all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Establishing QHSSE policies, frameworks, and performance standards.
Ensuring compliance with national laws, regulations, and permits.
Aligning operations with international management system standards.
Conducting risk assessments, inspections, and audits.
Investigating incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
Monitoring performance indicators and trends.
Driving safety culture through training, awareness, and leadership engagement.
Supporting innovation in safety, sustainability, and operational resilience.
The department works collaboratively with all business units to ensure QHSSE is embedded, measurable, and continuously improved.
